  6. Curriculum What students study: • English • Maths • Science • HASS • Japanese or Mandarin • Options: drama, design and technology, arts, ICT • Physical Education/Health education

  7. Curriculum • Whole School Assessment Policy • DET’s Plan • WSC Plan – High Performance/ High Care • Every student will be supported to attain at their personal best. • Focus on academic rigour and personal excellence.

  11. Homework/Homestudy • Preparation for upper school • Thirty minutes a day after school four days a week • Quiet space • No mobiles • Read a book of their choice if no set homework.

  13. Laying Foundations • Get to know other parents and build support groups. • Develop good study habits • Develop good life habits • Manage don’t damage • Watch out for: use of technology • Use Connect and Moodle

  14. NAPLAN National Testing for literacy, general knowledge and numeracy Year 7 and Year 9 students. Schools resources linked. Direct link to Year 9 Year 12 results Well prepared but need parental support. Preparation online resources and at our LRC
