  2. THIS MORNING: 1. What is the IPP? 2. MyBlueprint Account 3. BYOD Outlook EMAIL 4. Part 1 of Course Selection Planning for next year (September 2014!!)

  3. IPP (Individual Pathways Plan) • Ministry of Education requirement for all students gr. 7-12 • The IPP is about YOU!! • The IPP is developed, and tracked through MyBlueprint.ca/Peel

  4. What can you include in your IPP? • Post-secondary plan and research (College, University, Career...) • Resume and Cover Letter • Financial planner for Post-Secondary • Goal Setting • High School Course Planner (**Course Selection)

  5. How to Create and Work on your IPP? www.myblueprint.ca/peel

  6. Creating an Account • You need the following to begin: www.myblueprint.ca/peel • Grade (never choose other) • OEN(9 digit number found on student id card, report card, status sheet OR your Day 1 Period 1 teacher has a list) Do NOT include dashes, just the nine digits. • ValidEMAIL – SEE NEXT SCREEN

  7. EMAIL Account • Recommended use your “BYOD Outlook email” • EVERY PEEL STUDENT HAS A “BYOD email account” • USERNAME: student number @pdsb.org (123456@pdsb.org) • PASSWORD - SAME password you use to login to the network.

  8. EMAIL Account byod.peelschools.org 1. Type this into your browser address field. 2. Enter your login and password.

  10. 1. Once you are taken to the Welcome screen, click the Outlook link.

  11. Creating a MyBlueprint Account - AGAIN! You need the following to begin : www.myblueprint.ca/peel • Grade • OEN • EMAIL

  12. Choose Central Peel from the ‘Select Your School’ drop down.

  13. Last step to Creating your account Almost Done!!! • Go to your email - verification email. 2. Activate your account by clicking on the verify account link.

  14. What if you had an account before? • Log into www.myblueprint.ca/peel ***make sure you put in /peel • You should be prompted to enter your OEN and that is what will connect your old account to CPSS.

  15. NOW WHAT? • NUMBER ONE PRIORITY : CREATE A MYBLUEPRINT ACCOUNT • NUMBER TWO PRIORITY : HIGH SCHOOL PLANNER 1. Review the courses and marks already in your planner 2. PLAN, PLAN, PLAN – courses for next year and beyond

Course Selection Part 2 • The first week of January, grade assemblies will be held to cover diploma requirements and course selection – key facts • If you have a myblueprint.ca/peel and started planning, Part 2 will be a breeze. • ***NOTE: every students’ account will say Course Selection: Disabled until JANUARY 15-25

  17. GRADE 12 GRADUATING STUDENTS • YOU DO NEED TO CREATE A MYBLUEPRINT ACCOUNT AND REVIEW YOUR HIGHSCHOOL PLANNER (***DO YOU HAVE ALL THE REQUIREMENTS TO GRADUATE) • AND YOU MUST LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT BETWEEN JAN 15-25 TO SUBMIT YOUR PLAN FOR NEXT YEAR (i.e. NOT RETURNING – GOING TO….)
