Young Dorset Cricket Training: Future Stars Shine in Competitive Matches

This summer at Eggardon, our young cricketers have been honing their skills in intense cricket training. With lots of practice, we've learned how to bat, bowl, and run between wickets, even mastering "proper" cricket shots! From hitting balls into the swimming pool to executing successful catches, the enthusiasm is contagious. We've won local competitions, showing off our newfound bowling accuracy and fielding prowess. Under the guidance of our coaches, we are truly enjoying the game and building our potential as future cricket stars!

  2. We have had lots of Cricket Training from Young Dorset!

  8. We’ve learnt how to bat….

  10. ..and run between the wickets.

  11. We are even beginning to play “proper” Cricket shots!

  39. We’ve even won a competition! Firstly we won the West Dorset Final and then we went on to play the East Devon Champions too!

  41. This is our team with the umpires and scorers.

  45. ..and we all got someone out!

  46. Some of us bowl fast…

  47. ….some of us bowl spinners.

  48. We all keep wicket behind the stumps.

  49. We are good at fielding.
