  5. Change the Status Quo • CSQ challenges stereotypes, demands solutions, and uses education to make lasting changes • 20 workshops • Keynote speaker • Resource fair

  6. Soup & Substance • Series of talks that happens a few times each quarter • Tuesdays at 11 a.m. where anyone can come for soup and listen to speakers

  7. Volunteer Events • The CCE hasgreat relationships with the community and organizations • CCE can help coordinate large group volunteer events • Give you resources to volunteer on your own

  8. Alternative Breaks • Volunteer outside San Luis Obispo • Winter and Spring breaks • Include New Orleans, Boston, and New York • Humanitarian aid • Our very own Sarah Le Duff has been!

  9. Transportation Fact or Fiction If you get hit by a campus vehicle, the university will pay your tuition.

  10. Escort Vans • Sunday – Thursday • 7 p.m. – Midnight at 10 & 40 of every hour • Library, Business Building, and University Union • 0.5 mile off campus

  11. Bus Services • SLO Transit • Free with student ID • Regional Transit Authority • Can take you all the way to Pismo and Paso Robles • SLO Bus Tracker App • Track all buses at real time

  13. Bikes • Bike friendly campus and city • Register your bike with UPD • Get a bike locker from UPD for $25 a month • Bike auctions twice a year by UPD

  14. Amtrak • Amtrak bus picks up outside of Sage to the train station • Goes to SF and SD directly

  15. Airport • Located off of Broad, 10-15 minute drive • Flights to SFO, LAX, and PHX • Buses do not go to airport
