What is Explore? Canadian Heritage.

  • 5-week intensive language-learning course in French.

  • $2,000 bursary

About the bursary
About the Bursary Canadian Heritage.

  • $2,000 bursary will be given directly to the institution for:

    • Courses

    • Meals

    • Accommodation

  • The bursary does not cover:

    • Registration fees

    • Travel costs

    • Pocket money

What will you do

    • Three and a half hours of formal instruction in class per day

  • Courses provided by levels

    • Beginner

  • Fill out the online application - The deadline is February 28.

  • The lottery - random selection - will happen at the end of March.

  • Early April, you will be notified by e-mail of the status of your application.

  • You have 10 working days to accept the bursary.

Eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria Canadian Heritage.

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

  • Be at least in Grade 11 during the preceding school year or be at the postsecondary level.

  • Have been a full-time student for at least one term during the current school year.
