The Mohawk Local Schools are proposing an income tax operating levy to maintain a high-quality education environment. Since 1995, the district has not received new operating funds and has seen significant reductions in state support and local business tax revenues. This campaign aims to uphold small class sizes, quality staff, extensive curriculum options, and extracurricular activities while being mindful of community financial concerns. If the levy fails, significant cuts to teaching positions will occur. Voting "yes" ensures continued support for our students and community.
