  3. What is EasyTech? • By Learning.com • An online technology curriculum • Helps K-8 teachers and students develop and apply technology skills to enhance learning across core subject areas

  4. How Can EasyTech Help ME? • Since teaching technology (TA) TEKS is no longer an option but mandatory, • You will be able to easily integrate the TA TEKS into your curriculum!

  6. Examples of TA TEKS • Computer and Mouse Basics • Introduction to Keyboards; Keyboarding • Beginning Graphics • Word Processing Basics • Presentation Basics • Visual Mapping Basics • Database Basics • Computer Navigation • Web Browsing Basics

  7. Example of a Lesson • Say you want to teach your 2nd graders “Visual Mapping”. • First, assign the Visual Mapping lessons in EasyTech. • Next, have students create a web using Kidspiration of whatever you are teaching (ex.: Clouds)

  8. Example of a Lesson • Say you want to teach your 3rd Graders “Word Processing”. • First, assign the Word Processing lessons in EasyTech. • Next, have them create a Word Processing document in MS Word on whatever you’re teaching!

  10. Example of a Lesson • Say you want to teach your students “Presentation Basics”. • First, assign the Presentation lessons in EasyTech. • Next, have them create a presentation slide show using MS PowerPoint on whatever you’re teaching.
