  2. Achievements • Pioneering Food Safety policy which covers an in depth field to fork HACCP process and is recognised by other stakeholders. • 1ST Care Home Group to achieve the Bronze Food for Life Award. • 82% homes inspected since the partnership achieved 5* ratings.

  3. Learning & Investment • Accredited, award winning Food Safety Level 2 Training. Estimated saving of 64k on external training providers. • Home Managers’ monthly audit. KPI requirement. The partnership has provided internal communication route. 26K saved on external auditors. • Investment £1.8 million in 2013 for improvements to kitchen premises, storage and food service facilities.
