  1. JEE MAIN 2018 The Central Board Of secondary Education (CBSE) conducts JEE-Main, an all India national-level engineering entrance for admission into NIT’s, IIIT’s and other Centrally Funded technical Institutes (CFTI’s). In 2017, over 10.2 Lakh Students appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination- Main (JEE-M) at 1,781 centers for the admission in engineering colleges. It is conducted across various cities in the month of April. Exam Pattern of JEE Main 2018 JEE-MAIN is conducted in two parts- Paper 1 and Paper 2, where paper 1 is taken by students who want to opt for B. Tech/B.E. while paper 2 is for the students who want to pursue B. Arch/B. Planning. Aspirants have the option to appear either for the one or for both the exams. JEE Main Mode of Exam JEE-MAIN 2018 is conducted in both online (computer-based test) and offline (pen and paper based test) mode. Duration of the Exam: The duration of both the exams will be 3 hours each. There will be negative marking, deducting (-1 or 1/4th) marks for every incorrect answer. Each correct answer will carry 4 marks each. There will be no negative marking for not attempting the question. Choice of language for question paper: Candidates can choose to write the exam in Hindi or English. Examination Centers in Gujarat, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Havelli will also offering Gujarati as a medium for the exam. Syllabus of the JEE Main 2018 Exam Paper 1 will consist of objective type questions and drawing section from Paper 2 will be marked on the drawing skills. Paper 1 Syllabus- Includes the topics consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taught in 11th and 12th standard of CBSE, ICSE and state boards. Paper 2 Syllabus- Includes the topics consisting of Architecture, Analytical and reasoning ability and Drawing.   2. This option is only for the students appearing in Paper 1 which is conducted for B.E. /B. Tech courses. The slot allotment will be done on first-come, first-served basis. Mock Test JEE MAIN 2018 CBSE has released the JEE MAIN 2018 Mock test on December 13, 2017. The Mock test of JEE MAIN 2018 is a computer based test which guides JEE MAINS aspirants to have a prior experience of how questions in exam could be framed. JEE MAIN 2018 Answer key Candidates will be able to access JEE MAIN 2018 official answer key from April 24 to 27, 2018 on the official website. Students can also challenge the official answer key for an answer that they feel is incorrect. To challenge an official answer key, candidate has to submit a fee of Rs. 1000/- per question. If candidate’s challenge is accepted by CBSE, the amount will be refunded. Result for JEE MAIN 2018 Result for JEE MAIN 2018 will be announced by CBSE through online mode. Candidates will have to enter their roll number and date of birth. Result of Paper 1 will be declared by April 30, 2018 and for Paper 2 result will be out by May 31, 2018. Cut off/Merit List JEE MAIN 2018 The cut off list will be announced by CBSE along with the announcement of the result. The cut off is the minimum marks that has to be achieved to qualify the exam and appear for counselling and seat allotment procedure.
