• It is an organizational & navigational unit.
• Watch standing, maintenance of ship’s hull, accommodation & safety appliances.
• Loading and unloading activities.

Engine:-

• Smooth functioning of the technical part of the ship.
• Operate & Maintain propulsion.

Salaries per month

Deck Cadet – Rs. 12,000 – 18000/-

Third Officer –Rs. 90,000 – 1,25,000/-

Second Officer – Rs.1,25,000 – 2,00,000/-

Chief Officer – Rs. 2,50,000 – 4,00,000/-

Captain –Rs.3,00,000 – 5,00,000/-

S.T.C.W. COURSE :- 15 days

ENGLISH SPEAKING & P.D. :- 30 hours

COMPUTER BASICS :- 30 hours

BASICS OF NAVIGATION :-40 hours (T)+10 hours (P)

VOYAGE PLANING :- 35 hours (T) + 14 hours (P)

BASICS OF ROR :- 40 hours (T) + 10 hours (P)

METEROLOGY :- 35 hours(T) + 15 hours (P)

SEAMANSHIP :- 35 hours (T) + 15 hours (P)

SOLAS :- 06 hours

MARPOL :- 06 hours
