  7. M2M projects of KCC • KCC is going to launch a M2M standardization project from May 2011. • It is planning trial and deployment projects with some amount of budget.

  8. RFID/USN-IoT of MKE (1/2) • ETRI joined a correspondence group of a government-side non-profit organization to help develop an R/D strategy plan of Radio Frequency Identification/Ubiquitous Sensor Network (RFID/USN). The strategy plan aims at providing future R/D directions toward RFID/USN-based information society of Korea. • The plan states four basic directions: convergence with other technologies; RFID/USN-IoT; RFID/USN with an open service environment; and converged and federated information services based on RFID/USN where RFID/USN-IoT means the IoT has been positioned as the next step of RFID/USN.

  9. RFID/USN-IoT of MKE (2/2) Summary of R/D Plan of Industry convergence RFID/USN Area RFID/USN Program Director Division
