Armed Forces Electronics Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Air Force Association (AFA) all work together to raise money to benefit scholarships for local high school and college students. Each year we collectively award over $60,000 to deserving students who might otherwise not be able to continue their education. The IMAGE Golf Tournament has become one of the largest networking events within the defense marketplace in Colorado Springs. It’s an ideal opportunity to enjoy a round of golf and gain a better understanding of both issues and opportunities facing our community. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Team Composition: (MIXER) Each team will ideally consist of a mix of low and high handicapped players and will include a mix of both military/government and contractors, thus the name IMAGE! There will be NO corporate or government teams. Format and Scoring: This is a Scramble Tournament. Each foursome selects a “team captain”. Each foursome will compete in a scramble format (the team captain selects the best shot from the tee through the last putt). There will be first, second, third place and last place prizes for gross team scores. Additional rules to be briefed on tournament day. “Mulligans” - Since this tournament supports our scholarship programs, there are no limits on the purchase of mulligans. Mulligans are $5.00.
