UFLEX Commissions a New BOPP Film Plant in Hungary with 42,000 TPA Capacity UFLEX which is one of India’s largest flexible packaging materials and solutions company, has recently commissioned a new BOPP Film facility in Hungary with a total capacity of 42,000 tonnes per annum. UFLEX has been growing at a healthy rate and registered a YoY growth rate of 34.4% with a cumulative profit of Rs264 Cr for the quarter ending June 2021. The plant is commissioned to meet the growing demand of BOPP packaging films in Hungary. The demand of BOPP film in Hungary is growing due to increasing preference for packaged food, and gradual replacement of traditional packaging such as metal cans and cartons by polymer packaging. Other factors driving the demand of BOPP films in Hungary are growing consumer preference for convenient packaging, ease of use, lightweight etc. The company offers varied range of products including Aseptic Liquid Packaging, Holography and Chemicals which are an edge over the competition. The packaging developed by UFLEX have application in wide variety of products including all types of food packaging, detergents, shampoos, dairy products, pharmaceuticals, contraceptives, automotive and engineering equipment etc. Apart from traditional packaging solutions, UFLEX also provides green packaging such as biodegradable packaging, water soluble bags etc. which are set to grow in demand in the present scenario where people are becoming more and more environmentally conscious.
