  2. President: Kristen Slamaremail: apo.oe.president@gmail.com • October 23rd, 2010: • Theta Epsilon is going to be hosting a Section 50 Mini Conference at Illinois State University. The purpose of this conference is to promote and talk about the Nationals Convention and have some workshops. More information should be coming out about the conference in the next week. • This is from the new section 50 chair. VP Community: Carly Wilsonemail: cwilson3@iwu.edu Upcoming events: • If you want to help deliver flowers to nursing home tomorrow talk to Evyn! • After School Programs, September 7-December 1 • Ages 5-13, YOU pick a day Monday-Thursday, 3:30-5:30 (flexible) • *If you are interested, please see me after Chapter! • Worldwide Day of Play, Saturday, September 25 • Tipton Park 10:30-2:00 • Work day at the Humane Society, Sunday, September 26th • 11:00-1:00 • Wear tennis shoes! • Fall Festival, Saturday, October 9 • Miller Park 1:30-5 (running games, starts at 2 but volunteers get there a half hour early) • Help tag books at Bloomington public library!! • Will be on database soon! PLEASE sign up!

VP Community •  Children’s Discovery Museum needs help with their new Arts Ink exhibit! • Help kids with puppet shows, dress-up, tidying, and painting! •  Daily from 9-12, 12-3, 3-5 • After school volunteers needed at Children’s Discovery Museum to help with science activities at local grade schools: • Thursday September 23 3:00-5:00 • Thursday September 30 2:30-5:00 • Tuesday October 5 3:00-5:00 • Tuesday October 7 2:30-5:00 • Please contact Shelly Hanover, shanover@normal.org if interested! • Must attend orientation to volunteer through Children’s Discovery Museum:  • Thursday September 23, 2:00 PM • Thursday September 30, 5:00 PM • You get an hour for going to orientation, sign up on database!

  5. VP Campus, National, and Fraternity: BreeKasmanemail: bkasman@iwu.edu Upcoming Events: • I need an assistant to head the Faculty Staff Nights out. They would receive an extra hour for it. • Girl Talk Concert on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, September 23rd-25th • Check dashboard; need people for security, set-up, take-down, and tickets • Run the Woods 5K on Saturday, October 2nd • Need help with registration at 7:30 am • At Easter Seals Timber Pointe Outdoor Center in Hudson, IL • Ryan Beaupre 5k Run on Saturday October 9th • 8-11am • IWU Internship Fair on Tuesday, October 12th • 3:30-7pm, contact Ade apo.oe.fellowship@gmail.com • Boys and Girls Club • Anyone interested in volunteering needs to fill out an application and have a background check.
