It wasn't the answer. It just gave us a glimpse of the possibility.   5. What was the prominent silhouette • In the 1960s, there were many changes in the silhouettes of clothing. Because of public acceptance the relaxed shaping and lowered waistline became a popular silhouette. American and European collections concentrated on low-waisted silhouettes and also reintroduced the princess shape and the narrow tubular or oval outline with little or no waistline indentation
