  2. INTRODUCTION The State Bank of India, India’s largest public sector bank, was established on July 1, 1955. It accepts applications for SBI PO employment as well as other departmental openings. Every year, the State Bank of India conducts the PO exam to select qualified individuals for the position of PO from a large pool of applicants. The selection procedure will be divided into three stages: preliminary exams, main exams, and interviews. To be selected as a PO in SBI branches, candidates must pass all three phases.   8. HOW TO APPLY? How to apply for SBI PO? The application form is available at SBI Website. The steps to fill SBI PO application form are explained below. Application can be filled only by online method. Step 1: SBI PO Registration • Visit the official website of SBI. • Click the link ‘New Registration’ on the home page of SBI Career. • Enter name, phone number, email id, and security code • Upon successful registration, a provisional registration number and password gets generated. • The provisional registration number and password are also sent to the registered email ID and password. Step 2: Upload Photo and Signature • Post-registration, candidates need to upload the photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. • Signature in capital letters will not be accepted.  • The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged. Step 3: Preview of SBI PO application form Candidates must preview the application form before the final submission. Then, they can edit the details entered in the application form while validating the same. Once this is complete, candidates need to agree to the terms and conditions and submit their applications.
