  3. ABOUTUNIVERSITY Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) is a state technical university in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The HBTU was named after Sir Spencer Harcourt Butler, governor of the United Provinces in British India. Its programs have been conferred in autonomous status under the university.It is one of the oldest engineering institutes in the country and holds the ISO9001:2000 certification. It offers Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral programs in engineering, as well as Masters program in Computer Applications

  5. Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur was created in 2016 with an emphasis on research and development, as well as incubator activities, in the fields of engineering and technology. Other areas of interest include basic and applied sciences, the humanities, social sciences, and management architecture, among others. It was established by the government of the state of Uttar Pradesh. The institute has received approval from the AICTE and is associated with AKTU. The institute has been ranked 166th in the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2020, according to the organization. India Today ranked engineering as the 25th most important subject in the country in 2019.In 2019, the Composite Rank placed us at number 30.Outlook Magazine ranked us 25th in the world in 2018.

INFRASTRUCTURE • Science Lab • In order to make the classes more interesting, realistic and clear the science students can utilize the lab facilities available.Additionally, the science lab houses are fully equipped which is required for a science teacher to enable her inspire many a scientist in the coming generations. • Auditorium • Education should not be limited to the four walls of the classroom.Also, a spacious seminar hall is also present in the campus premises.Likewise, the room equipped with an audio system and surround speakers so that the speeches will be audible.Similarly, many interactions, seminars, meetings and moral classes held in the hall every academic year.

Computer Lab • The college has a well-equipped computer lab for the sake of practical education in computer applications.Apart from that, it is to say that they learn the latest trends and developments in the computer world. Hence, it made available to the final year students and the staff of the institution. Also, it has a smart class and a library of its own.Hence, it has ICT enabled teaching and learning. • Canteen • This place is very comfortable for all the students to relax for a while and refresh themselves.Apart from that, college gives almost importance to hygiene.Moreover, the canteen serves palatable and delicious recipes to the students and staff at moderate prices.Also, RO plant purified water supplied in the canteen. • Seminar Halls: • However, Education should not be limited to the four walls of the class room.A spacious Seminar Hall with the capacity of more than 700 students is allotted in the building.Moreover a big Digital Screen with the capacity of 175 students allotted.Likewise the room is equipped with an audio system and surround speakers so that the speeches will be audible.

Library • However, the College has a huge library which the students can benefit from. • Therefore, there are over 158 books and over 15+ Journals. • Moreover with such amount of resource and the peace of the library students wont find it difficult to study and score well. • Language Lab • However, Communication skills play an important role in the field of job opportunities and comfortable settlement in life which have become the ultimate goal of the youth. • Hence, It established a Language Lab in the computer lab 2. U.G.C funded for more than 25 audio head phones for listening to the online classes to improve pronunciation and speaking skills. • Moreover English department monitors the classes and guides the students for their success in learning communication skills practically
