  2. What is CSCS Blue card? There are about 12 different types of CSCS cards and CSCS cards come in a variety of colours. Blue cards are one among them. CSCS cards exist in different varieties depending on the qualifications and duties of the worker on the job. While they are not required by law, the vast majority of employers in the construction sector will insist that their employees have one that is relevant to their profession. The CSCS blue card, also known as the CSCS skilled worker card, is used as proof of construction employees' competency in a variety of positions on the job site. Blue cards are only given to experienced professionals who have completed the necessary training to safely and successfully carry out their obligations on site. CSCS Blue card

  3. Essential criteria to apply for CSCS Blue card CSCS Blue card To apply for a CSCS Blue Skilled Card, you must complete a Level 2 NVQ or a recognised equivalent to obtain your skilled worker CSCS card. The finished qualification must be related to the precise tasks that the person does on the job. If the worker's job requires them to operate cranes, they could choose to get the Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations - Cranes and Specialist Lifting. If a worker has several different tasks on the job, they can have multiple NVQs on one card rather than one for each discipline.

  4. Essential criteria to apply for CSCS Blue card CSCS Blue card Applicants must have passed the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment Test (HS&E) within the last two years in addition to their NVQ. This is a multiple-choice test that determines if workers have a basic awareness of site safety. Apart from NVQ you can choose alternatives which include apprenticeships, such as an employer sponsored apprenticeship, a City and Guilds of London Institute Craft Certificate, or a CSCS Approved Trailblazer.
