  3. When He Was Born Ibn Battuta was born in Tangier, Moscow 1304.

  4. How He Became Famous • Ibn Battuta became famous because of his three trips.

  5. His First Trip • Ibn Battuta’s first trip was in 1325 when he was 22 years old. In every trip he left his country Moscow and came back. He used boats and animals to go to other countries. After Al Hajj he went to Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and Al Andalus. Then he went to Iraq, Iran and Al Anadol. After he went back to Mecca and stayed there for two years.

  6. His Second Trip • His Second trip was in 1350 when he was 46 years old. He went to Europe.

  7. His Third Trip • In his third trip in 1353 when he was about 49 or 50 years old, he went somewhere next to Africa when he visited Al Soudan. And this trip took 3 years.

  8. What He Did During his Trips • He wrote what he saw and lived like everyone else.

  9. How He Lead Us To Change • Ibn Battuta lead us to change by letting people know how to live in other countries.

  10. When He Died • He died in Tangier, Moscow 1378 when he was 74 years old.

  11. Why He Traveled • He traveled because he was interested in going to other countries and exploring.
