  • What does Bev Collins do?
  • She is part of a specialist support service working in partnership with other agencies - supporting a wide range of children’s needs.

Education Welfare Officer

  • Do you have a concern regarding your child’s attendance at school?
  • How can Bev help you?
  • She can refer a child to the Family Intervention Team (FIT) or Right From the Start.
  • Apply for home tuition if your child has a long term illness or injury.
  • Contact the School Health Nurse of GP if your child’s illness is a concern.
  • Support and encourage routines at home to ensure prompt attendance at school.
