  3. Launch at Country Level • Setting dates for the launch & communicating the same to AfriCenter • Submitting launch budget to AfriCenter • Developing a program for the event • Contracting a media coordinator to mobilize journalists • Inviting guest of honor • Inviting other stakeholders

  4. Launch at Country Level contd. • Commissioning translation of highlights in local languages • Distributing the Highlights (10 Top Facts) to participants (one official language and in local languages) Action: Country coordinator

Reporting After Country LevelLaunch • Tracking impressions • Submitting daily impressions recorded at country level from day of launch, include newspaper cuttings and links to online news (Media coordinator). • Submit launch summary report indicating date of launch, number and names of participants, resource people, and title of their presentations; challenges encountered. (country coordinator)

  6. Final media reports • Three weeks after the launch, • All entries from media should have been entered and a final media report submitted to AfriCenter • Report should indicate number of total articles, impressions, challenges and opportunities. Action: Media Coordinator
