  2. Introduction • First regional meeting under the new PEIP contract; • The last regional PEIP meeting (September 2005 Belgium) followed by extraordinary REReP meeting on investments (June 2006); • The current PEIP activities timeline May 2007 – May 2009

  3. Objectives of the meeting • To review the progress achieved in financing and/or preparing priority environmental investment projects from the PEIP list; (updated PEIP lists); • To discuss the overall progress in legislative and organizational framework since January 2006; • To present key challenges of the countries for the upcoming six months.

  4. Objectives of the meeting • To present developments on project preparation facilities; • To present results of relevant technical assistance projects in the region; • To stimulate discussions of the SEE countries and donors’ community on financing priority projects.

  5. Sessions of the meeting • Introductory session (new initiatives and experiences of project preparation facilities) • Candidate countries session; • Potential candidate countries session; • Concluding session (work plan for 2008)
