  2. Kale is a rich in nutrients green, leafy cruciferous vegetable. It is from the family of mustard similar to cabbage and Brussels sprouts. It is no less than a super-food. There are many of them who still haven't tried on this super-food. • It has a variety of health benefits due to its high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and fibre. Kale is the king of all the green leafy vegetables. Earlier in America Kale was grown for the purpose of garnish. • There are three types of kale generally found: • Curly kale • Purple Kale • Dinosaur Kale

It is either steamed or sauteed to cook. Each method gives it a better and unique taste. Steaming brings more mild and tender flavors to the dish. Steaming for 3-4 minutes brings the volume of Kale 40% down whereas sautéing helps to bring a crispy taste. Recipes like kale chips, Braised kale and sauteed kale with pepper are tasty yet a healthy choice. Kale can be bitter tastes so to remove its bitter flavour it is advised to massage kale so it damages the cells and forces the bitterness out. Later rinse it with warm water to wash the bitterness from the surface as well.
