  2. Many people in the world are suffering from this serious disease diabetic, which is the most common disease in children, adults, and elder people. Therefore, for diabetic patients, it is mandatory to follow a strict diet plan, as more will be the blood sugar level body will be more exposed to more dysfunctions. Due to increase intake of sugar also gives rise to this serious disease, though sugar intake is not bad its large consumption is not good for health. Various food items must be avoided by diabetic patients like sugary beverages, flavored yogurt, white bread, rice, junk foods, breakfast cereals, Trans fats, etc. The processed foods contain refined carbs which are very bad for our digestive system, thus it is advised that diabetic patients should stay away from processed grains, liquid Trans fat, and sugary drinks.

Some of the best foods recommended for diabetic patients are as follows: Intake of whole grains: Whole grains like brown rice, whole-grain bread, whole-grain pasta has a high amount of fiber, and people having diabetes are needed to consume a large intake of fiber as it slows down the process of digestion. Slower the process of digestion slower will be the absorption of nutrients which will ultimately help in controlling sugar level.

Regular intake of walnuts or berries: Walnuts are considered as an important component of diabetic diet as it contains Omega 3 fatty acids and it is also good for heart, as it does not contain any inherent sugar in it. The walnuts are loaded with nutrients and are necessary for diabetic patients to take it regularly for keeping their diabetes lowered.  Citrus fruits: The citrus fruits such as grapefruits, lemons, oranges, are best known for controlling insulin levels in the blood and these fruits have anti-diabetic effects and are highly beneficial if taken regularly.  Green vegetables: The leafy green vegetables like cabbage, spinach, broccoli, kale, etc. are packed with the vital nutrients which ultimately help in controlling blood sugar level. The green leafy vegetables are recommended as it is rich in starch digesting enzymes and thus extremely useful for treatment for people suffering from diabetes.
