  2. A lot of people may have heard of a physical condition called shingles that happens due to a viral infection. If you see it, it is basically rashes on different parts of the body. It is in the form of a single strip of blisters which is usually found near the torso area. It is caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox known as Varicella-Zoster Virus. A lot of doctors have said that when the virus deactivates as chickenpox, it can reactivate as shingles. There are some very common symptoms as well as prominent ones that confirm the case of shingles.  It is true that shingles are very painful but they are known to be non-threatening to life. In case of mild shingles, vaccination can be of great help. However, if shingles are not treated on time they can become a severe problem.

  3.  If the treatment is improper or one is ignorant to this medical issue, it can cause a lot of trouble for them later on. According to a research done in the USA, people who have been affected by chickenpox are likely to get affected by shingles. Also as per research, shingled affect people who are above the age of 50 years but in some cases, it can also happen before.  Let’s throw some light on the shingles symptoms. The first and the foremost symptom observed are burning sensation and pain. The pain leads to formation of rashes on different parts of the body. Along with pain and rashes, other symptoms include fatigue, headache, itching, chills, red patches, fever, Blisters filled with fluid and many other symptoms.

  4. Shingles symptoms vary from person to person. It can be formed on the eye, mouth, face, chest, back, buttocks and most surprisingly even the internal parts of the body. A lot of times, shingles also leads to a syndrome called the Ramsay Hunt syndrome which is extremely unhealthy for the body. Even though shingles might appear as a minor health problem but it is known to be extremely painful. The Varicella-Zoster virus is of herpes viruses’ family, which causes genital herpes and cold sores. This is why shingles is also known as Herpes Zoster. Not many people are aware but shingles is not contagious as many people think it is. In fact, chickenpox is contagious. Shingles take place due to one and only reason that is the reactivation of the Varicella-Zoster virus available in your body.
