  4. Overview • Thorough knowledge of these SOP’s by HERO personnel is essential for team work, moraleand the maintenanceof uniform responses resulting in the highest level of service to the traveling public.

Introduction • SOP’s are developed to provide a singular standard written source of departmental Standard Operating Procedures which promote the effective and efficientoperation of the HERO Unit. • These SOP’s will be utilized by the HERO Unit personnel as the official reference AND guide for the daily operation of the Unit.
