THE FIRST CONCLUSION • ROMANIA HAS SIMULATION CAPABILITIES AND NECESARY EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR TRAINING; • JCATS, VBS3 and MILES ARE THE MAIN SIMULATION SOFTWARE USED FOR TRAINING IN ROMANIA; • ROU NAT SIMNET IS USED TO INTERCONNECT WITH OTHER REGIONAL OR NATO SIMULATION NETWORKS.   9. The Center was setup in 2002 on 1st of June, as the STC. Designated to implement a new way of training in the ROU AF and to facilitate implementation of western doctrine in the upcoming perspective of joining NATO. UNCLASSIFIED INTRODUCTION

As long as has acted as the national simulation training center, the CJRED has improved operational command and control and has ensured that ROU Armed Forces can integrate into any NATO / EU operation. TheWargamming and Doctrine Experimentation Center actively, substantially, and effectively supports the military education, especially the academic level of it. The Wargamming and Doctrine Experimentation Center is supporting the Romanian Armed Forces training program. UNCLASSIFIED SUMMARY
