  1. MORFOLOGI BUNGA 3

  2. Rumus Bunga • Rumus bunga merupakan suatu sistem yang mencerminkan struktur suatu bunga melalui huruf, angka dan simbol khusus. Ca5Co5A10-∞G1

  3. Rumus Bunga • CaX = Calyx (kelopak); X = jumlah sepal (e.g. Ca5 = 5 sepal) • CoX = Corolla (mahkota) X = jumlah petal (e.g., Co3(x) = petal beberapa lingkaran masing-masing 3 petal) • Z = ditambahkan jika simetri Zygomorph (e.g., CoZ6= zygomorphic dgn 6 petal) • AX = Androecium (stamens) X = jumlah stamens (e.g., A∞ = stamen banyak) • GX = Gynoecium (ovarium membawa karpel); X = jumlah karpel: 'monocarpous‘: satu karpel;'apocarpous‘: dua karpel atau lebih lepas, 'syncarpous‘: dua karpel atau lebih bersatu. (e.g., G1 = monocarpous)

  4. Kelopak 5 Sepal lepas • Mahkota 5 petal lepas • Stamen 10 sampai banyak • Putik 1 karpel superus Ca5Co5A10-∞G1

  5. FLORAL DIAGRAMS • Diagramatic representations of flowers are of great conyenience in assisting one's memory in respect to floral structions, especially when comparative and evolutionary studies are undertaken

  6. Five general types of flowers for definite diagramatic representation • Hypogynous flower, as in the lily. • Perigynous flower with a free hypanthium, as in the rose. • Perigynous flower with adnate hypanthium, as in the apple. • Epigynous flower without hypanthium, as in the honeysuckle. • Epigynous flower with hypanthium, as in the evening primrose.

  7. The conventional signs used to represent the ordinary flower parts. • a. Carpel. • b. Vestigial carpel. • c. Axis of inflorescence • d. Stamen. • e. Vestigial stamen. • f. United carpels, plurilocular ovulary. • g.Unilocular ovulary with three carpels, • h. Sepal. • i. Petal. • j . Petal with nectar cup.

  8. Fig. 2. Diagram of carpellate cone of Tsuga canadensis, with three spirals. • Fig. 3. Diagram of carpellate cone of Sequoia washingtoniana, with five spirals, • only one traced out. • Fig. 4. Diagram of hypogynous flower of Yucca filamentosa. • Fig. 5. Diagram of perigynous flower of Lathyrus odoratus. • Fig. 6. Diagram of perigynous flower of Malus malus, with adnate hypanthium. • Fig. 7. Diagram of epigynous flower of Fuchsia, with epigynous hypanthium. • Fig. 8. Diagram of epigynous flower of Houstonia ciliotata.
