camp kaitawa. By LUIS. OMG it was a brilliant sunny morning in Hawke’s bay. The Reignier School Year Five’s adventure was beginning. Long walks, beautiful waterfalls, fun obstacles, muddy caves, dark smoke. What a fun, fantastic week. Monday.

  2. OMG it was a brilliant sunny morning in Hawke’s bay. The Reignier School Year Five’s adventure was beginning. Long walks, beautiful waterfalls, fun obstacles, muddy caves, dark smoke. What a fun, fantastic week.

  3. Monday We had just arrived at camp. We had put our bags away . Now we were going to the power station, green lake, surge chamber and up the pipelines. When we got to the green lake it looked beautiful and you could see right through the water . When we got back to camp we had spaghetti bolognaise, then it was time for bed.

  4. Tuesday On Tuesday we had a big breakfast because we were going on a 6 and a half hour walk. On the trip we saw a thousand year old tree . When got to the top of the mountain we were 1050 m above sea level. After lunch we walked back to the cars and drove back to camp. We devilled sausages for dinner.

  5. Wedensday Wednesday was similar to Tuesday. Instead of a long walk we went looking at waterfalls. All of them looked beautiful. When got back to camp we did an awesome obstacle course, then had burgers for tea.

  6. Thursday On Thursday we went caving. We went through 8 caves and for some we had to get down low. At lunch we played rugby with the adults. When we got back to camp we had a cook off. We made nachos and roasted chocolate and marshmallows.

  7. Friday On Friday we packed then drove to Wairoa for lunch. We had chip butties for lunch then we drove back to school. I loved camp because I was with all of my friends and doing lots of fun activities. I wish I was still there.
