  2. What wrong with roadside checks?Nothing wrong with practice of carrying out checks, only comments with regard to \procedures , equipment, infrastructure and competances.

How to improve1 – site layout (weighing pads?)2 – examine all aspects of vehicle not just ADR3 – have a step by step approach to examinations4 – involvement from all agencies/departments5 – procedures for ‘opening’ seals, many goods vehicles had seals restricting examination 6 – improve layout of check form
