State’s NSP Program Goals • Revitalize & stabilize communities negatively impacted by foreclosures, high-risk mortgages & high rates of abandoned/vacant property • Provide affordable rental & homeownership opportunities for LMMI households • Benefit priority populations identified in State Comprehensive Housing Plan • Provide integrated, community-based housing for priority special needs populations • Prioritize Areas of Greatest Need, esp. those without access to other resources or NSP funds
