  2. Know All about karyotype test during pregnancy There are 46 chromosomes in human body normally that are divided into 23 pairs in each cell. Chromosomes are generally the part of the jeans passed down from our parents to us, or from the parents to the new born baby. Karyotype test are done to check the number the shape and the size of the chromosomes, can you type test are done to take a close look at the chromosomes inside the cell to see whether there is any an usual nature of the chromosome, these stars are often done during the pregnancy to spot problems with the baby. Generally in Cairo type test they check whether there are more or few chromosomes than the normal or whether the size and shape of the chromosome is irregular. These tests are generally done and are really helpful in finding any genetic disorder in the developing baby this procedure is also referred as genetic or chromosomal testing.  During the pregnancy There are several parental screening test that the doctor asked to do for many type of genetic or chromosomal disorders, type testing is usually done during the first trimester and another in the second trimester. Down syndrome:- This is due to increment in chromosome, in this the baby has an extra chromosome which affect the baby looks, learning and activities of daily living. • Turner syndrome:- This occurs when the girl baby has a missing or damaged X chromosome, this may lead to for the heart problems neck problems and may lead to shortness of height. • Patau syndrome:- In this the baby has an extra 13th chromosome babies with patau syndrome usually have heart diseases and see where mental impairments, in this most of the babies does not live more than a year. • Edward syndrome:- In this the baby has an extra 18 chromosome.  Other than finding birth defects karyotype tests can also be used for- • Identification of any disorder that could pass down to the child. • If there is trouble getting pregnant or there are several miscarriages this tests can be done to check whether the couple have any chromosome problems. • Chromosome test can also help to show whether the baby is a boy or a girl.
