  1. STAR TREKKERS Star trekkers is about the solar system. Our solar system is made up of a star-the Sun, 8 planets, 162 moons, dwarf planets, comets and asteroids.

  2. SOLAR SYSTEM Our solar system is part of a galaxy known as the Milky Way and the sun is the center of the solar system.

  3. ABOUT THE EARTH Earth has more exposed water than other planets. Three quarters of the earth is covered by water.

  4. THE EIGHT PLANETS The eight planets are:- Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune

  5. THE SUN The sun is our source of heat, light and energy. Without it we could not exist. The diameter of the sun is about 1.4 million km across.

  6. MOON The moon has thousands of craters covering its surface. Sometimes we can see the full moon. On July 20,1969, Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon. The astronauts discovered that the moon is a silent, weird place.

  7. JUPITER Jupiter is known as the outer planet in the solar planet. Several space probes have been sent to Jupiter. Jupiter is not a frozen planet. Jupiter has faint rings which cannot be seen from the Earth.

  8. MARS Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. It is just half the size of the Earth. Mars has two moons. The two moons are called Phobos and Deimos. Mars is sometimes called the Red planet because the reddish dust covers its surface.

  9. SATURN Saturn has 52 moons. Saturn is a bit bigger than the planet, Mercury. Though Saturn's magnetic field is not as huge as Jupiter's, it is still 578 times as powerful as the Earths. Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and the second largest.

  10. URANUS Uranus is an outer planet. Uranus has 11 rings. Uranus has 27 known moons. Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun. Uranus is the third largest planet. The two largest moons are Titania and Oberon.
