History • Founded on 1st April 1877 by the Bremen merchant Carl Hartmann • 20th century major shipper of Bavarian an Czech beer to the USA • Carl Hartmann died in 1932, his son Adolph took over the company • all activities were stopped in 1939 because of the World War II – • office building was completly destroyed • restart with import shipments from the USA

Today • Located in the city of Bremen • Close to main ports in Germany ( Bremerhaven, Hamburg and from 2012 also Wilhelmshaven) • About 50 service staff • 3 executive officers : Johann Mindermann, Hermi Dopmann, Andreas Soller (5th generation) • Main focus import and export of seashipments espacially : • Removal goods & • Exhibition cargo • AEO certified
