Sıvılar ve gazları oluşturan tanecikler arasındaki boşluk,taneciklerin hareket etmesine ve yer değiştirmesine sebep olur.Bu nedenle gazlar ve sıvılar akma özelliğine sahiptir. Sıvılar ve gazlar öteleme hareketi yapar. Öteleme hareketi: Taneciklerin birbirini iterek hareket etmesi,yer değiştirmesidir.
