  2. What Dentist do? • Dentists help keep you teeth clean and healthy so you don’t get a cavity. • They also make sure that you brush your teeth every day and night because that is very important.

  3. Working Conditions • Dentist mostly work inside buildings. • They sometimes have assistants it depends on what they are working with.

  4. The colleges I would like to go to are • A.T. Still University- located Mesa, AZ. • University of the Pacific- located San Francisco, CA • I would like to go to these schools because they are closer to my friends & family.

  5. Ten years from now I would like to be employed as an • Assistant for a dentist so I can get to know how to use the tools. • After I learn how to use them I will want to be a dentist myself and have my own assistant.

  6. Education & Training • To be a dentist takes a lot of hard work and lots of training. • Dentists also have to go to college for many years. • You will have to work with different tools and make sure you use them right.

  7. Tools • Mouth Mirror- dentists use it so that they can see the patients teeth in the reflection. • Probes- they are used to locate any cavities or broken teeth. • Dental Burs- dental burs are used to repair any chipped teeth and polish.

  8. The main reason I chose this job • I love to help people and make sure that their teeth are healthy. • I also want people to be confident about their smile.
