Brief information about being a doctor… A doctor is a person who makes people feel better. When people get sick they go to the doctor so he/she could tell them why and makes them healthier. There are many kinds of doctors, with many kinds of jobs. A doctor has its specific job, one could be for skin problems, and the other maybe for stomach problems. So what ever thing a doctor may do, it is helping people and makes them feel better.
What are the day to day activities of being a doctor?? If I want to be a doctor I will have to work long hours, at all times of day and night. About 60 hours a week. I will also have to rush because there is always an emergency. I will have to deal with infections and viruses, and gross things like blood.
Will I be able to get it??? If I study hard and get good marks I can get any job I want. Some people say that being a doctor takes a lot of studying and many years, and at the same time it is a beautiful job, so if I want it I will have to work hard to get it and hope to be a great doctor….. And who knows maybe, in the future, I will have my own hospital.
How much is the salary??? It depends on the years of experience…….. Less than 1 year: $27,000 1-4 years: $28,374 5-9 years: $30,779 10-19 years: $31,015 20-plus years: $35,596
I think that being a doctor is a great choice and I hope everyone thinks that’s too….. I will try to work hard in my future so when I grow up I could be a doctor and help people. And the reason why I chose to be a doctor is because I love to help people, especially children….. And who knows maybe when I grow up I will be a children doctor.
