  1. What Is UKCA Marking & How Does UKCA Marking Affect My Small Business? If you sell your product in the UK market and have previously applied for a CE mark. The UKCA Marking is required for aerosols that previously required the "Reverse Epsilon" mark and products that previously required the CE mark. What is the UKCA Marking & Why is it required? The UKCA came into effect on 1 January 2021 after the Brexit transition period ended. However, compliance has a grace period. Therefore, even with the CE mark, it can be used until January 1, 2022. However, try to switch to the UKCA mark as soon as possible. You must use the UKCA before 1 January 2022 only if all of the following are true: ● Subject to the law requiring the UKCA mark. ● Requires a third-party confirmation. ● Conformity assessments are carried out by the UK Conformity Assessment Authority. The product areas listed below are covered by the UKCA mark: 1. Toy safety. 2. Pleasure boats and jet skis. 3. Simple pressure vessels. 4. Electromagnetic compatibility.

Aerosol sprays. However, the UKCA Marking does not apply to existing products. The product is fully manufactured and CE marked before January 1, 2021.
