  2. How should we rethink and redesign the role of the University in Bergamo? • More participative • More democratic • More dynamic • More functional • Developing a more effective integration between academia, institutions, industries and citizens How we would like our uni to be?

How should we rethink and redesign the role of the University in Bergamo? • Time: Duration/Seasonality/Times of the day/Weekday/Weekend time and times of studying: duration of learinig/ academic calendar/overcrowded in some moment/it should be considered religious, family and work time • Space: public, private, “third”, common, institutional; access, visibility, viability facilitating socialization and interaction • Practices: public, private, group, individual, institutional, visible/invisible practices of learning Practices and spaces are intimately interconnected • Contents: heritage, sustainability, citizenship, access to information in general the capacity to increase axess

  7. How should we rethink and redesign the role of the University in Bergamo? • Collective action is not just given by the sum of individuals • Seeing relevant information is often not enough to trigger responsible action • The issue of Surveillance
