(300 m +47*25 = 1475m) Number of geophones = 48 Number of shots =30 Shot spacing = 50 m Geophone spacing = 25 m Position of first shot= 300 m to the west of the first geophone Direction of shooting: W to E On the following page is one method of solving the problem it we assume that the geophones move with the shot. Another assumption is that the geophones are fixed and the shot moves through the array.
