ATEC reorganization preserves Title 10 responsibilities for Independent Operational and Live Fire Testing Consolidation of ATEC HQs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD: ATEC Headquarters, Developmental Test Command (DTC), & Army Evaluation Center (AEC) Eliminate duplicate staff functions Strengthen ATEC System Team (AST) Test and Evaluation process

6. Leverage opportunities provided by Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). Support Army efficiency initiatives such as Task Force Aberdeen Proving Ground. Reduce management latency by consolidating HQs staffs at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). Integrate Developmental Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT) by improving the ATEC System Team (AST) concept of operations and aligning organizational structure. Support the Warfighter with efficient and effective Test and Evaluation (T&E).
