  2. Geography The major are Cities: Jackson, Gulfport, South haven, Hattiesburg and Biloxi. The Land Forms:are two lowland plains; the Mississippi (or Delta) in the west, and the Gulf Coastal Plain in the east.

  3. Bodies of water The Bodies of water are Ross Barnett Reservoir, Arkabutla Lake, Sardis Lake, Grenada Lake, Big Black River, Pearl River, Yazoo River and the Mississippi River.The Population is 2,844,658(as of 2000)

  4. Map: Weather/Climate The Weather/Climate: in summers it is temperature is in the 90s in the winter its in the 30s.The land size is (125,443 sq km). 48,434 square miles. The Region: is Southeast.
