  1. Following feedback from Research and RAE Coordinators, a small but important change has been made to the Public Outputs module of CREDO Online. When items are selected for RAE, staff should now indicate who the item has been selected for. In the majority of cases this will be the user who is updating the details. This is important as there are many cases where an academic is a co-author on outputs being submitted by other members of RGU staff. This guide gives details of how to update your RAE selected outputs. For further details or assistance contact Andy Freeman: Email: a.freeman@rgu.ac.uk Tel: 262272 V3

  2. As before, RAE editing functionality is only available with items in the Completed Section of Publications. Click on the title of the publication to go to the publication details and RAE editing section.

  3. Click the Edit RAE button

  4. Choose the Status, RAE Rating and add the description. Your Research or RAE Coordinator will provide guidance on the Description field as this varies between Units of Assessment NEW REQUIREMENT: Choose who the publication is selected for. If selecting your own publications for RAE tick the box next to your own name. This is important as you may be co-author on a publication being submitted for another member of staff and we have to identify which publications you have selected for yourself.

  5. Click Done to return to the “My Profile Page”

  6. RAE Selected Outputs will be listed in the Status field as “Completed RAE – AuthorSurname”
