What is your favorite song?

On my signal, you will turn and talk with your partner to complete the following sentence

Objective: To participate in a song; to review print concepts

Today as we read our song, we will be looking for some different things. Notice how the song starts at the top and goes to the bottom. Also notice how there are spaces between words, capital letters at the beginning of sentences and correct punctuation.

If you saw something that gave you a fright, would you try to escape?

Look at a nearby bookshelf. Did someone cram a lot of stuff onto it? How can you tell?
