  3. Current collaboration (1) Mechanical engineers stay at CERN for three months Overlapping of 1 week with previous engineer Engineering design mainly focused on “small-scale projects” to be terminated within 3 months Examples:

  4. Current collaboration (2) Collaboration follow-up with Mr Azhar (bi-monthly phone meetings) Technical profile of people as requested About 3 weeks needed to be effiecienttdue to the complexity of the project Quality of work fully satisfactory Deadlines respected

Future collaboration (1) Raw material shipped last week • Aim: • Extend the collaboration to bigger projects, including fabrication and testing of micro-precision components for the CLIC two-beam module • Few trials made and promising results • After few iterations with Mr A. Nawaz decision to start the qualification for: • RF structure: 1 regular disk • RF component: 1 splitter

  6. Future collaboration (2) Meeting with Mr H. Hooraniand colleagues on 11.10.2012 – revision of the current and future activities Pakistan expressed the wish to be involved in the qualification of PETS bars CERN mentioned that to improve efficiency engineers should stay at CERN for a longer period.
