WG5-Report from Switzerland: Verification of aLMo in the year 2005

This report discusses the verification of aLMo surface weather parameters using SYNOP stations and ANETZ data. It includes the verification results for total cloud cover and precipitation, as well as the impact of hourly IFS-boundary conditions on geopotential. The report also covers the verification of weather regimes using upper-air data and the comparison of aLMo and radar precipitation data.
