NAATI CCL Test National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters - NAATI has introduced a new CCL (Credentialed Community Language) test that gives 5 points to international students for the point- based general skilled migration visas. Test Format The NAATI CCL Test Format includes two dialogue tasks conveyed through recorded materials with alternating segments of a conversation between an English speaker and a Language Other Than English (LOTE) speaker. Each dialogue task consists of approximately 300 words and each segment is of 35 words. The maximum time allotted for the test is 30 minutes. A test supervisor is present during the entire test to handle all the electronic equipment along with managing start and finish time of the task and any unanticipated issues. The role of a supervisor is only to record the test for assessment purpose and not to engage in any discussion regarding the task or your performance.
