Creative Themed Mask Design Activity

In this engaging mask design activity, each student will explore different themes by writing unique ideas on slips of paper, which will then be placed in a bag. Students will randomly select a slip that will inspire their mask design project. If a student isn’t satisfied with their chosen theme, they have the option to trade with either the teacher or a fellow student. This fun and creative process encourages collaboration, imagination, and artistic expression while making the mask designs personal and thematic.

Theme Selection • Each person will write a theme idea down on a slip of paper. • Paper will be folded up and put in a bag. • Each student will select a slip with a theme which they will design their mask around. • If student is unhappy with their theme, they will be allowed 2 trades. This trade can be made with the teacher or another student.
