  5. Democrat Beliefs:Democrats believe in equality regardless of how much you "deserve" to be successful. They generally prioritize civil rights over economic success.

  6. Democrats in the Political World • In the Political World the government would most likely protect people’s individual rights and liberties. • For example: When a person is speaking their mind and someone stops them, then the government can protect the citizen speaking and ensure that he is able to say whatever he wanted to say. It is the government’s role to protect every individuals rights and enforce laws to make sure that their rights are protected. • Democrats are liberals in the Political Worlds because although they support some control of the government, it is done in order to ensure the rights of individuals.

  7. Democrats in the Economic World • In the Economic World, Democrats would take more control of the economy and regulate businesses. • For Example: It is the governments job to restore/ rebuild the economy but in order to do this then they must take economy into their own hands and deal with issues this way. When the government sees that the economy is not doing so well they will take the responsibility to fix it, like when there is a recession or some type of decline in the nation’s money. • Democrats are conservatives in this issue because they have more control of the economy than the people. Although this is true it is only to redistribute the money in different types of ways like Welfare or Scholarships.

  8. Democrats in the Social World • In the Social World, Democrats would support government funded programs for the well being of the people and promote equality as well. • For example: Democrats support Welfare and Social Security. They will support and provide money and ensure the people a better well being. And it is the role of the government to not get too involved and let people better themselves but to give back to make sure the people have a stable “safety net”. • They are liberal in the Social World because they want to give money back to the people and provide government programs in order to help as well.

  9. Democrats in the Cultural World • In the Cultural World, Democrats support diverse lifestyles and do not interfere with peoples lives. They also embrace freedom of choice and expression. • For Example: If a person wants to have a same-sex marriage then Democrats believe that they should not be involved and that it is the persons right to do what they choose. It is the government role to not get involved and promote the idea that people should not have all of their actions controlled by the government. • Democrats are liberal in the CulturalWorld because they support the idea that a person has the right to do as they please without intervention of the government as long as the action does not interfere with any other individual.
