  2. The meals of the day French people love eating! We love food and weenjoy cooking !

  3. Breakfast In the morning, we have breakfast. Wesometimes drink orange juice. But weprefer hot drinks such as cocoa, coffee and tea. Most of us have French bread ( baguette) with butter, chocolatespread « Nutella », jam, cereals.

  5. Lunch First, thereis a starter : pâté, eggs, mixed salads, rawvegetables… Then, a main course thatincludesmeat or fishand cookedvegetables. Then, we have cheese . Finally, dessert : fruit, yoghurt, pudding or a cake (on Sundays).

  6. Our favourites TomatoMacedoniaand ham • Pastawithchicken Cheeseand yoghurt Chocolatecake withstrawberry Cookies

  7. Fridays On Fridays, wetraditionallyeatfishbecauseJesuswascrucified on a Friday and, therefore, eating « flesh » wasforbidden. Of course, things are changing as people are lessreligiousnowadays and schooldinners have to conform to secularism in our country.

  8. 5 o'clocktea Afterschool, wehave a snack : we love breadwithNutella spread (chocolatecream and hazelnuts ) Yummy !!

  9. Dinner In the evening, weofteneat home made soup; We mix mashedvegetables : carrots, potatoes, leeks, onions,parsnipsetc…

  10. For dinner, wealsoeat pizza and quiche Lorraine withsalad. Quiche : a French Favourite!

  11. You need : - a roll of dough - 3 eggs - 250 g cream - 150 g bacon - Nutmeg, saltand pepper Preheatoven to 200 ° C Place the doughin a pie dish, prickthe bottomwith a fork. Mix the beateneggs and cream. Fry the bacon. Add the bacon to the egg mixture withsalt, pepper, gratednutmeg . Pour over the dough. You canspreadgratedcheeseon top. Bake for 30 min.   12. In the summer Weofteneatsalads and barbecue. Chicken, sausages, pork or lambchops hamburgers, beef steak

  13. To give a little more flavor to ourmeat,weeatitwith sauces like: Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Tartare, Béarnaise. Vinaigrette is for salads. Our favourite dressings

  14. Recipe n° 2: Vinaigrette 40 cl olive oil 20 cl redwinevinegar 20 cl water (optional) 20 cl strongmustard 1 tablespoonsalt 1 tablespoonpepper To save time, I prepare the vinaigrette pouringall the ingredientsinto the blendergraduated jar : No need to measure, justpour and stir !
